The name was chosen in 1945 over some coin toss, between Francis Pettygrove from Portland, Maine, and Asa Lovejoy from Boston, Massachusetts. The rest is history. Bicycle paths, eco-friendliness and more than 70 microbreweries! Portland, Oregon is rated Best Beer City in America oftentimes. Not too far from Mt.
