ST LOUIS, MISSOURI

In St. Louis, locals can take a day off from work because the river is too high, and it can take days for it to come down. Also, "Going to the boat," means going to the casinos. Maybe the 630-foot Gateway Arch backing up to the Mississippi River has something to do with this. Visitors can take the tram to the top to see the panoramic 30 mile view, or don't if you're afraid of heights. Museums, botanical gardens, and unique art can be found around town. There's the Anheuser-Busch Brewery, among many others. Delmar Loop has stores, restaurants and galleries, aka "one of the 10 greatest streets in the US." This city loves their NFL Rams and St Louis Cardinals, and they also love their beer. You'll find plenty of innovative and high-quality brews near the arch and river. Grab a beer here:
